Premier League 18/19

Crazy cause he's not a goal scorer. Almost reminds me of when Lilian Thuram scored a brace for France against Croatia in the 98 WC semi.

Credit to Leicester for pretty much shutting down the most dangerous attacking machine in the world. My jaw was absolutely on the floor when Kompany belted that top bins.
That was my first time seeing Brendan Rogers' Leicester and I was pretty impressed. They have some really interesting players too. Ndidi, Maddison, McGuire, Jonny Evans and Schmeichel had really good matches.

My first time, too. It would be a coup if they can make the Tielemans deal permanent.
I've heard really good things about him but have mostly felt like he plays very much within himself when I've seen him in the past. A little bit reticent. So I'm not really sure what he's capable of.

What happens if both Arsenal and Spurs win their cups - does the EPL get 5 in the CL next year? And if Arsenal/Liverpool win, do the Spurs get pushed out of CL to EL?

What an effin' season. Congrats to City. Congrats to 'Pool.
Man United are hilariously bad.
ManU needs to can Woodward - the Club makes a ton of sponsorship cash, but the squad is a shambles and needs a full overhaul, and that’s 100% on Mr. Ed. I don’t know if bringing in a Technical Director, especially a former player with zero training/education in the subject matter (as opposed to a guy like Edwin Van Der Sar who studied it after playing career) is gonna right the ship.

Really hope those rumors of Bezos being interested are true - he won’t keep the club mortgaged and instead will focus on a quality product rather than how to skim money off the top.

Bold 2018/19 predictions here we goooo:
Liverpool
Man U
Arsenal (New coach, new era.)

Everton
Fulham
Burnley
Wolves
Watford
Brighton (will juuuust scrape it through)
Huddersfield (was a good run)
Southampton
Cardiff

I wish the forum had one of those "timers that will @ me when the season ends" things.

Congrats to City.

As someone who started hardcore following the EPL in the 90's the fact that City and Spurs are now better than United and Arsenal still makes me feel like I might be in the Matrix. :D

Poch sort of seems to be threatening to leave Spurs (regardless of CL Final result) if they don't get investment. Will be interesting to see what happens.
