so i guess closed door means we won't get a stream either? let's hope we do!
one benefit is our boys won't have to deal with the 3252 screaming and singing the entire game. on the other hand, preseason is a good time to get used to that again and perform despite it.

yes im assuming it will be like last time we played LAFC, nothing is shown only the highlight of a goal if we score. IIRC last time there was a scuffle in that game with both teams. things got chippy apparently.

i am surprised Ronny is not playing a starting XI to get them minutes so they are prepared for CCL. really seems like he's still experimenting and that worries me a bit.

It looks like he's possibly tinkering with Callens at LB in a 433, and I can't help but see a potential starting 11 with Maxi replacing Zelalem and ITS replacing GMS. Looks lethal to me. Only person really losing out in my opinion is Tinny at RB (to Scally). I don't think we have a method of viewing so I may be incorrect.
Maybe Christopher Jee 's theory of GMS at LWB is happening and we have a 352 moreso than a 433.
EDIT: Looking at the use of ";" vs "," separating the names, I'd presume it is a 4-3-3.

I do not care that Maxi isn't playing. Rest him. He knows these guys better than anyone. He'll return like he never missed time.
maxi not playing is moreso about fitness than chemistry. i just want to know that he's not injured and is able to run his ass off so he's not blowing chunks 20 minutes into our first official game.
we don't know what happened so hard to speculate. not like sands and chanot have poor chemistry either. chalk this up to vela doing vela things and rodriguez getting on the end of it.

and i don’t think we need to get worked up about starting 11 for closed door scrimmages. They usually have unlimited subs in and out, starts and stops, etc... it’s a glorified practice session.
were not, then again we tend to only have 1 win in preseason every season. its a new coach so experimenting and getting ideas from coach is what we need these games for.
no. i agree. but ronny has said his philosophies are very similar to what we've already been doing with slight tweaks. he also said he wouldn't be trying to tear it all down to build it up again but instead, do small changes here and there over time.
i know it's only preseason and i know this is the time to get in shape, try new things, etc.. but we should be able to compete with an LAFC side who is doing much of the same things.

and first goal looks like we got caught with a high line and beat on pace with a nice throughball from vela.
weve also lost to 3-0 to the B team of a mexican second division team. as for the philosophies Dome also said similar things and even in 2019 it took a couple of months to finally get something going, yes Heber helped alot but it takes time with a new coach even if the philosphy is the "Same"
just basing on picture, looks like scally may have committed that penalty for second goal.
