Seat Relocation In Progress Thread

I was so stoked when I got this e-mail because this is a resolution to the single gripe that I had all season long. Every time they sent a survey, I noted that some of the "premium" seating didn't have enough value. I suggested 2 or 3 different ways to do that and an add on was one of them. Then... I saw the price. Total ripoff as far as I'm concerned. The freakin' add on is as much as, if not more than, the seats themselves!
I bought category 1 seats because the next jump in price really didn't seem justified for what was being offered. Looking at it now I guess the delta sky club is only ~20 bucks more a game but what does that get me. Free parking and exclusive entry gate. Big whoop. The viewing area looks worse. Maybe in a soccer specific stadium I'll rethink it but right now they seem like a bad choice. The championship seats look like a much better deal then delta + audi add-on. May even be better to go all out and get the legend seats for what they want for the audi club.

I agree on some points, Rimil Rimil. I love the view from Delta. It's nice to be able to sit outside with an unobstructed view or go inside and hangout or move over to the patio. For me, the Audi add on is a totally senseless buy. For anyone that would add Audi onto seats, it's better to just buy Legends seats. Free parking in Delta is only with 2+ seats. I didn't have it last year but will have it this year.

I should say the view I was guessing is worse. I haven't been up there but I was guessing being stuck in the furthest corner was not going to be ideal. Who knows maybe I would love it. Like i said on some older post, I stood in the food area behind the goal and thought the view was way better then my category 1 tickets. I think the equivalent seats would be category 4 or 5, so price and view may not have any correlation. I do debate with myself why I even bought the Cat 1 seats.

I also like the view from Delta though it might not be as great this year if the yankees decide to extend that stupid net behind home plate, the inside area is also nice especially during first couple games when it's freezing cold.

if you mean behind the goal in the opposite side from the supporters section, its cat 5 on the first level. That's where my seats are, and frankly I intend on staying in that area for the duration of our stay at YS. The sun isn't as bad there, the view is nice & the screen is in full view.
I'm holding off on getting the pricey seats until we've got our own stadium.

Figured I just give my little story in terms of relocating and perhaps a heads up for those in a similar situation.

When I initially became a founding member mid-season, I did not opt to purchase an expensive seat, because I did nor know what to expect. I was unsure how the views and atmosphere of the team would be, considering we currently play in a baseball stadium. Needless to affirm, I had an amazing experience and ultimately concluded it was worth purchasing premium seats.

Just this evening, I desired to finally make the move from section 213 to a premium seat (I was deciding between Delta and the Champions Club). After reaching Emily from fan-services, and going over the options, I came to the preference of moving to the Champions Club (mainly being super close to the field, the more private atmosphere, and the free-food can truly be a cash savior long-term). However, all the regular seats for the three sections within Champions Club were sold out which saddened me a bit when I initially heard so. Fortunately, they were able to open up the W section within the 011 section (which appears to be even closer to the field), so I am interested to see how this experience will be for the upcoming season.

Those are closest to the left field corner and the first row. You'll love the seats, though the view to the first base corner may be difficult to see. The free food, private bathroom, etc are worth the money.

A generous redditor gave me a champions club seat for one game last year and it was fantastic, I think you'll be happy. There were a few seats open in 013 up to a couple days ago so if your decision wasn't recent maybe you should check again.

Just be advised that in those seats during any game day in the summer when it's hot, it's boiling down by those seats.

This just happened this evening, so I must have just missed those.

And yeah, I know! Thank the lord for the free soda and water, right? :p

No different than any other seats that are not shaded from my experience.

There's extra padding in the Legends/Champions seats, absorb more heat.
I guess I have so much extra padding on the part of me that touches the seats that I didn't notice.:p
