8 fucking home games on a weeknight. That's bullshit. Can't take the kids to any of those.

This bunching up of home games to accommodate the Yankee schedule is getting fucking annoying - who likes to take a month and a half with no game and then have 3 in seven days?

Case in point: I am taking two vacations this year (each about a week) and because of bad scheduling luck am missing FIVE games. That is 30% of the season. What the hell.

Also echoing what Gator said - us with kids who can’t get them there on a weeknight are so screwed with all these midweek games.

Attendance is going to go in the crapper.

We get our best attendance at weekend afternoon games. Weekend evening games are a little bit below that. Weeknight games are way below either of those.

So, we have 8 games on weeknights, 4 games on weekend nights and 5 games on weekend afternoons.

i looked at the Yankees home schedule and they Yankees have a home stand from June 10th to 26th.
