2025 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs

Man, Vancouver just beating the breaks off San Diego tonight. MLS gonna get its Muller vs Messi MLS Cup.
I'm a big Thomas Müller fan despite the Bayern connection (grrr ... Bayern 🤬). Just a great, fun, unique player to watch. And a great leader. When he came over to Vancouver, he had already learned the names of all the players, coaches, support staff, etc.

So, go Caps, that's what I say. Beat them whining prima donnas but good in the final.

Well, thank goodness, as Brad Sims boasted about earlier this year, that David Lee convinced him that there is a better model for building MLS rosters by going with young player development and moving away from those terrible aging stars. Wouldn't want to be headed where some of these aging star teams are going this season.

It's crazy how successful cascadian teams are in reaching MLS cup in recent years.

The sustained success has pretty much been all Seattle and Portland. You have to be happy for Vancouver fans, pretty amazing to have such a substantial diehard fanbase for a club that, up until this season, has very limited playoff success:

I actually thought there was a covering defender there, but it was close.
Yeah, there was, but he was outside the second attacker. And it would have been a wide-open goal, so no matter. Definite DOGSO when a goalkeeper cleans a dude out like that with no one behind him. The ref didn't even hesitate.
