If we lose at DC.... were looking at the 5th seed as I don’t see us beating Philly in the last match. And NYCFC can refund that playoff invoice they jumped the gun on.

If we’re the 5th seed, having lost to DC and then Philly, we aren’t advancing to the next round, but if we did, the chances of hosting a match are near zero unless the 6th seed also advances to play us in the conference final.
Umm. It’s a 2 leg series the next round. Home and home. No matter the seed.
Good thing we wouldn't need to beat Philly to keep the 3rd or 4th seed.
Berget doesn’t bother me as much as Maxi. We’re a different team without him. Medina in Maxi’s spot? This could get ugly.

Wait WHAT? So you’re telling me that NYCFC had 3 weeks off and several players got injured? Guess “amazing things” are happening with the training staff. How about doing another amazing thing and firing them and getting a new one. They’ve been crap with injuries the last few years.

every year in any thread that says who do we need to be top contender i always say new doctors. My question is the medical staff same every year? i mean every year there is an issue, they even misdiagnosed someone and potentially t fault for ending a career too.
games have been meh, they are on a good record but not dominating the teams. We can still lose no doubt like FC dallas half assed whole game and paid for it. i still trust getting a draw
I don't think a team necessarily needs to dominate. They need to win. If the games truly have been "meh" it was enough for them to get to the line; Rooney pushes them over.
sure but that dallas game was more flukey than anything rooney if i remember didnt do much in that play was was more acosta who is the more active one all game. it feels like it will be another meh game and a set piece makes difference wether its a draw/win/loss for us well see. maxi hurts more but im more worried for his health for the playoff game than sunday's result.
Maxi left the Chicago game early then didn’t play against Minnesota. If the injury goes back to then and he’s still not better this is bad.
