Don't NFL coaches play around with the injury reports all the time? I'm pretty sure I remember something like Bill Bellicheck listing Tom Brady as questionable with a shoulder injury for like 50 games in a row despite no real injury being known.

Yup, this was to make a mockery of the report. PV went the other way, listing Lampard as questionable every week when he wasn't anywhere close to recovery. He should start calling David Villa "questionable" for every match like the Patriots did.

Yes. They changed the rule this year, but you can still use questionable to cover anything. Personally, it feels more vague now.
