In retrospect the Eirik Johansen experiment was a strange one. He took up an international spot for two seasons, rode the bench for 3 and now he's gone. Maybe they thought he'd develop more and he was worth the risk but it's hard to imagine we couldn't have found a young domestic keeper to role the dice with and see what happened. Seems like they could have moved at least 1 season sooner after he couldn't unseat Slosh.
Maybe if you catch him for a chat now as a former employee, he will spill the beans on the Mix saga.
That would be great, who better to tell the story than Mix's fellow Norwegian teammate that Mix was spotted with most often prior to his departure.
Should have gotten a few starts over slosh in 2016. refusing to admit slosh sucked and waiting to put johansen in until the last game of the season (and then starting him in the playoffs) still amazes me.

i like where you head is at. You have a good foundation, you just need to tighten up your delivery. try instead "he had his shot, but it ended up in the back of the net."
