The World Cup trophy is of course perhaps the most recognisable football trophy in the world...

...but I personally actually prefer the original trophy, known as the Jules Rimet Trophy (it helps that England won it, but that isn't the only reason):

There were two of them.
One (the original) was stolen in Brazil and never seen again, the other is in the National Football Museum.
The one England lifted was the replica as the FA did not want anything to go wrong again after the first was stolen. They handed the original back to FIFA and the replica was left in the house of a FA employee for years.
