So we will be getting one going in the next month.
Looking for text ideas. Got the general design in place. It will be functional. Front side for games back side wearable around town/fashionable.
The ends will have NYCFC on one side and FORUM on the other (can do NYCFC on both)
What would you like the scarf itself to say?

Just curious and this may be a dumb question. Is "NYCFC" trademarked and therefore unusable on the scarf?

Hmmm I was really thinking just a straight forward thing. Not too much text.

NYCFC is fine. We have it in our domain and Its not an issue.
Something like...
WE RUN THIS TOWN
NEW YORK CITY FC
Maybe something in Dutch?
Has to be the right amount of characters otherwise putting a paragraph on it the text will be too small.

I would keep away from the 5 boroughs themes unless the bronx stadium deal is for sure.
If that falls thru the team will most likely build in southern westchester.

I do like 5 BOROS 1 CITY
Idk if NYCFC would like us using it on a scarf.
And 1 Team 1 City plays good too

If were going with that I like the rhythm of "1 City. 1 Team." better. (If there are any English majors in the room you might recognize that it ends on an iamb--1 Team--which is stronger than ending on an an anapest--1 City. If not lets go with it just sounds better...)

Also for the NYCFC/Forums on each end, why not have a wordmark similar to the one at the top of the forums on each side. Something like:
NYCFC
