Guess The Attendance 2017 - NYCFC vs. Philadelphia (June 3)

Still no attendance figure has been reported

Does anyone else find this conspicuously absent? It's like they actually don't want to announce it rather than just a delay. The stadium was surprising empty considering it was a flawless Saturday afternoon against a regional opponent.

We're the only game from this weekend (Friday-Sunday) to not have attendance reported yet.

I'm sure it didn't help but I doubt it was the cause.

I doubt they drop is because die hard soccer fans are staying home to watch the CLF. I think the underlying issue is bringing in the casual fan.

True - I just don't think currently averaging 6th highest attendance is all that concerning yet (down from 3rd at the end of 2016) - sure it's down from the first 2 years, but we expected the casual fans would drop the numbers a bit

The same weekend last year was the lowest attendance of 2016 - maybe graduation parties and whatnot?

The crowd looked pretty good on the highlights. So that number seems about right.
FWIW being there I thought it looked pretty empty outside the bleachers on both sides. But that's completely perception and could be wrong.

I wasn't able to attend live on Saturday so was watching via FoxSportsGo on my laptop at home and the crowd looked pretty decent. 24k sounds about right.
