The MLS Soccer dot com has been terrible for stats for MLS. Anyone see another website or social media number about the attendance figure?

It was definitely more than 7000. It wasn't 20,000, but it definitely was more than 7000.

7099 cannot be right as attendance is officially measured, because it would mean that NYCFC has only ~7,000 season tickets sold. This was not even the worst circumstances either. We've had midweek games in worse weather against even less compelling opponents. And the attendance has never been so low.

Watching it on TV it looked really empty but not 7,000 empty. I was one of the STH who traded my seats in: weather plus Wednesday evening.

The NYCFC postgame media notes said 7,099 but I’m wondering if that was a typo and it was supposed to be 17,099. That would make a lot more sense in comparison to other low-attended weekday games.
