Guess The Attendance - Home Game 2 (skc)

I am sure the snow and cold will keep some people away, but one question is whether they will end up in the official attendance anyway since the ticket was sold.

Don't know what it's going to be like 2 and a half hours from now, but here on S.I. it's 45° and sunny. Hope it holds out like this for the rest of the day.

Here is your winner! Great stuff. Only 50 seats off. A Mug of Ale to you should we ever meet.
Lucky me!!! We can meet at the pub of your choice before the April 19th game if you want.... Second round will be on me and we can call it even! Wish I could get the Lotto numbers this close!!

Is that a definite figure ? Being there it looked like a good turn out but I'm slightly surprised if it was that high.

I can confirm the stadium looked packed. I believe it was a sellout (butts in seat)

I am not a season ticket holder. With three kids, there would be too many missed games. Next planning to be there for Seattle.

I was quite surprised by the turn out. I couldn't go to the game but was able to catch most of the second half on tv. I kept trying to see who was in my seats but I couldn't figure out exactly where my seats are from the camera angle.
Considering how nasty the weather was in the morning, plus the temp drop after dark, I'm impressed. There was one section that looked half empty (or half full?) On camera but the sides looked good.

Why does the capacity differ from baseball to football?
It's expensive to open up the entire stadium so they reduce the standard soccer capacity to just the lower two levels. Opening up the thrid and fourth levels requires a ton of extra staffing.
Also, since the stadium was not built for soccer, some seats even in the lower level have an obstructed view of a portion of the field and are not sold.
