Actually the official beer of NYCFC and 6 other clubs.

The deals establish Heineken either as the Official Beer (Chicago Fire, D.C. United, New York City FC and Orlando City SC) or as the Official Import (Columbus Crew, Houston Dynamo and New York Red Bulls) of each individual club. The agreement will see Heineken partnering with the clubs for signage, intellectual property rights and retail activations as the brand works closely with the clubs to continue enhancing the fan experience in each city.

I'm taking that as Heineken ponying up a few more bucks to certain teams to get better product placement? Giveaways? Contests?

The Official beer for CFG is also Heineken and has been for many years now.
They've sold it in the City stadium on tap for awhile as well.

Well if we're gonna be throwing out unlikely choices, I would rather have seen Brooklyn or Sixpoint. Give those Cascadia beer snobs a run for their money.
