In the NFL west coast teams are horrid on the east coast for 1pm kickoffs. They’ve been outscored 202-56 in the first half in since 2002.

From 2003 to 2018, west coast teams have gone 80-133 (37.6%) in all start times on the east coast. It’s gotten to the point two years ago west coast nfl owners petitioned the league to not allow 1pm kickoffs for west coast teams on the east coast. The vote did not pass.

Do we have a real advantage? Who knows, but the nfl stats seem to point in our favor for sure.
NFL players are wusses. They stop between every play.

not entirely sure the time will be a huge advantage, but I think the travel will. a "morning" game, after short rest and a crappy commercial flight and almost no time to prepare for an almost full power NYCFC squad in our rinky dink field? It won't be easy for them to bring it. Credit to them if they are able to give us a good game. But I think we come up on top if and only if, we are able to handle their man marking.

well.. this will be interesting.

Parks will have to step it up and ask Maxi for some advice. Im thinking Isi starts in place of Medina too.

No Suspensions for this one. Ring picked up his 3rd card in 3 straight games (only broken up by a suspension)., he's now in danger again. Taty is now in danger again as well. Sweat's clean sheet took him out of danger. No one is in line for a reduction this match. International break is over, let's see who can play after returning home.

We're not finishing in 1st place in the Eastern Conference (might not even get a Concacaf Champions League spot). Nothing good will happen to this club until we get a stadium and MLS/PRO will give us a fair shot at glory.

wow, come on now. Have some confidence.
Our team figured out how to deal without David Villa for many games while he was injured, we can figure out how to deal without maxi for a bit too. It'll all be fine. :)

Yup, most likely NYCFC’s season will end *again* on that plastic shit field down in Atlanta. It amuses me to no end how for the first 15 minutes down there the team always looks like a deer on roller skates trying to get adjusted to that awful playing surface.
