Win and we're on to the SS and MLS Cup. Lose, we might as well pack in the season.

Everything is riding on this Chicago away game. If we can get a win there we come back home for 4 straight, including a second game against Chicago. Need the momentum of an away win going into the home games v. Toronto/ORL/NE. The last thing we need is another losing streak early on against teams like Chicago / Philly. Would love to see us win 4 of the first 5, definitely doable. Come on you big apples!
Hopefully our full rebuild comes together sooner than their full rebuildNever want to take anything for granted but Chicago seems to be in full rebuild mode this off season, hopefully we catch them at a time when all of their new pieces are still trying to get used to each other.
But one could argue the same thing about our defense...Never want to take anything for granted but Chicago seems to be in full rebuild mode this off season, hopefully we catch them at a time when all of their new pieces are still trying to get used to each other.

Edit: Beat me to the punch Tom
This is exactly how I looked last year during that one bitching-cold game - was the temperature in the teens/twenties and snow started falling at the end??? I'm going more prepared this year with 50ml bourbon bottles to nip from.
My guess is it will show up again as the default opening screen once the season starts. I do wish they had a countdown for Chicago and not just the next pre-season game.I have it under matches. I don't see one for the Chicago game, just the Okc gameView attachment 4094
We will lose a couple of matches to bad teams this year.
I know, BOLD PREDICTION, but often some hard core fans do the thing where they look at the schedule and pencil in wins vs bad teams.
Yeah I agree we had some churn especially in the backline but it's nothing compared to Chicago's:

Larentowicz was their most vocal player and on field defensive leader. Magee, Palmer and Nyarko have been starters for years. 5 of the 10 players they added are rookies from the super draft or HG signings with no professional experience. Our situation by comparison looks considerably less extreme to me. Aside from Harrison every player we brought in has some level of professional experience:

Chicago is either pulling all the right strings, or they are going to be the biggest dumpster fire with the complete overhaul that they're engaged in....Should make for an interesting opening game...
