I wouldn't have called either the Lewis or Harrison PKs. They were both very soft. Sweat getting chopped in the box should have gotten one, however.
if only there was a post match thread where someone posted the match highlightsi need videos of these instances, all i remember is lews'
I will give them proper respect for their turnout and their support. They had a lot of people at the game, and they were loud (until the 75th minute) and generally well behaved. Without them, the atmosphere isn't nearly as intense and the whole experience, including the win, isn't nearly as special.
ETA: I hadn't noticed until the Time Lapse Video that their upper deck sections wrapped all the way over my seats in Section 205. I couldn't see whether there was anyone up there, even though I am in the front of 205. I can confirm that nothing rained down on us from above, other than verbal abuse, which was duly returned.
I will also add, that my 9-year-old was fascinated by the whole spectacle of another team showing up in such numbers and seeing their chants and traditions. It further cemented his passion for this whole project.

Nice try. Fanciful thinking. But you are wise enough to know that's never tthe right reason and no club would sign a player for that reason alone. Maxi is a fine player. But we can certainly do better, both in value and in prestige. What if part of bringing Maxi in is to have him sing the praises to his friends that may not be considering MLS because of how they perceive the league? Having a guy like Maxi that can tell Aguero, or others, that the quality of life is fantastic and the club is top rate could go a long way towards luring bigger names over. Not saying we're getting Aguero, but Maxi is part of that generation and played with some big names.
Well, I hypothesized it as *part* of the reason, and not the *only* reason. And I'd much rather bring in players that have a desire to be here and sing the praises (Villa, Ring, Maxi) than those that play their contracts out and vanish (Lampard).Nice try. Fanciful thinking. Speaking of which, how is Gotze doing? Any chance he will lose his starting spot and opt for MLS instead?
He has played some friendly minutes and is just trying to get back to game shape. His condition isn't cured but hopefully it will be something that doesn't substantially affect his ability. That remains to be seen. Given the circumstances, I hope he makes it back to top club and country talent.Speaking of which, how is Gotze doing? He would be a more expensive TPFKAU given his performance. He has played some friendly minutes and is just trying to get back to game shape. I hate it when people put a space between the NYC and the FCVilla had the best single game performance by a player this season, in a derby nonetheless.
