Jersey Up Keep

I was wondering what are the proper ways to up keep your jerseys. In terms of washing and stuff like that. I've never owned a soccer jersey prior to this season. And I just want to keep my jerseys nice and intact with no fading screen prints.

I have both the blue (short sleeve) and black (long sleeve) authentic. I just put in the wash with Tide on warm cycle (colors). Then hang dry.

NEVER and I mean never put them in the dryer!

Also, personally, I choose to hand wash the jerseys but I'm obsessive. Probably not necessary. It may extend the life of the jersey but I have no proof of that. o_O

With any piece of clothing with value, you turn it inside out, wash it by hand with very little detergent in cold water, then hang to dry. This will keep it in the best condition for a long time.

If you must use a machine, put in very little detergent, and use the delicate cycle if your machine has it. If not, set it to the shortest amount of time, with a little tumble, and cold water. Don't put it in the dryer, ever.

I have jean washing tips, too.

Yeah, it's a thing, and it does work with removing odor. If you buy high quality jeans, you shouldn't washed them for at least 6 months to break them in. Throwing them in the freezer gets some of the stink out.

Thanks for all the help guys. I just want to make sure my authentics stay looking good, considering the price of them haha.

I believe you are only suppose to wash them after spilling an over priced souvenir cup bud light on them.

There's a guy who sits in front of me who's jersey is already peeling

I'm not washing till it stinks!!!

Jeeez.

Oldest rule in the book, don't wash it all season. Day 1 stuff.
