Man, I was a huge Jonathan Lewis fan back when he got here. I thought he just had such energy and potential.
Fans always rated him higher than any coach did. Even as he produced goals he never got consistent minutes anywhere. His second highest season minutes total is 1304.
I think trading him for $650k 7 years ago was good business.

What behind the scenes are we not seeing with him, because he seemed very talented both here and in Commerce City.

I feel like I remember hearing that he wasn't a great practice player, which is why he didn't get as much playing time as we felt like he should.
Another player that, if we're being honest, probably isn't at the MLS level anymore, even if he was a fringe roster player 5-6 years ago. There's a lot of guys like that who played for us 10 years ago but wouldn't be able to sniff our roster now.
