i am hoping that the English tandem of Lamp and Jack are going to light a spark in the attack and set us on a winning streak. Thoughts?

If you mean this Jack Lamp then yes, I believe drinking is very much the spark I need to continue watching this team.

I wanted Lampard gone but he's scoring a goal almost every match. Only other scoring threat we have is Villa, can't be mad at that production.

I've said something similar before on some post somewhere, but as a fan of NYC sports, it's always about what have you done for me lately. When Lampard wasn't doing anything, fuck the guy, but as his return neared, I started to get excited about what he could do for the team. Now that he's performing and performing well, <3 the guy until he gets injured again.

Still think Frank's a dickhead. But he's our dickhead right now, and helping the team win. So I wish him the best. Even if he signs an extension (can't believe I typed that). But once he's not with the team, he'll just be a dickhead again.
hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee dickhead, but as long as he's popping in goals i will hold my nose an look the other way. When his contract expires, i'd like him to fade away from nycfc memory. I don't have to like the guy, but if the coach puts him in i'm not going to root against the team nor do i wish him injured. Just finish your contract and go away.

When I look back at him telling me to "F Off", it strikes me as a very New Yorker thing to do. He wasn't the first person in this city to say that to me, nor will he probably be the last. I smile a little and wonder if the city has been rubbing off on him.

Revisionist history.....

Adam: At the game last night, my friends and I were yelling at Frank when he came over near us to sign autographs for a groupie of his. We tried to tell him people weren't booing because he was injured - we were booing because his transfer to us was all steeped in a lie. He looked me square in the eye and told me to "Fck off." It was at that moment that my anger disappeared because it was evident Lampard had achieved his own metamorphosis from a total wanker to a real New Yorker. I would have been really thrilled if he had flicked me off - just like the State's Bluebird - but that was too much to hope for. We are all Lampards.
