Jansen in his press conf saying he's hoping for the same kind of atmosphere in leagues cup as was with the gold cup due to mexican and american rivalry. don't worry Jansen, it will definitely be the same kind of atmosphere with liga MX fans filling the stadium and making every game feel hostile.

Wish I could be there today. Really regretting opting in and the policy surrounding leagues cup tickets. The fact that I can’t trade them in is ridiculous.
I agreed to these in the spring, well before I knew about my new job that wouldn’t allow me to make the weekday games. Now I have three matches that I am “giving away” my tickets to friends because I can’t exchange them for credit.
Anyway, long way of saying I hope that we see a young roster and get to check out the newer players while giving a rest to the more experienced players.

Last year 2024, the week to opt out of Leagues Cup was in June.
This year they moved it way up to a week straddling February and March. I was not expecting it so early.
The day before the opt out email came I was in the ER all day for trauma injuries (I'm fine, thank you, no worries) getting CT scans and stitches etc. The day after the email was my last regular day at work before retirement. So I was kind of preoccupied and did not catch up on my emails until too late.
I was so annoyed. I listed my Puebla and Leon tickets, and took about a $15 loss on Leon and $80 loss on Puebla. But at least I got something back.
I hate Leagues Cup.

Haven’t listed a ticket for a sale yet in the portal. Do we say the price we want or do people bid on it?

You list a price you will accept. They let you know what price buyers will see and how much you would receive net. They also provide some vague guidance as to the price to list at. It can become a game of chicken a few days before the event. Do you lower your price or hold out? And no matter what you do it's possible nobody buys.

Puebla are terrible but we couldn't walk the ball in from an inch away
Found the team bus outside RBA. That was one of the worst performances I've ever seen in the 11 seasons I've followed this club. Pascal got this one completely wrong. Our depth in the midfield is non-existent. Ojeda and Fernandez are clueless out there. Cavallo put in a Deuces performance.
I'm with Herm Edwards. You play to win the game. We disrespected the opponent and got beat down. I hate that I spent money on this.
I'll be there on Friday.
Turned it off after 60 minutes. Will enjoy watching some kids get a run out the next two games. And will probably go on Tuesday to watch Toluca in person.

Will say that Haak put in a solid performance. Shades of Chanot out there. Totally bossed certain parts. Wasn’t great when he turned over the ball in the second half but on the whole rose to the occasion in my opinion.
Cavallo had a really bad night. But I think that is harsh on KOT.
You might want better, but KOT has been a pretty reasonably solid LB for us.
I watched the first half and went to bed at half time, seems like I made the right choice. The guy who put the game recap together on Apple tv must have also gone to bed early because it showed the second goal twice and didn’t show the first goal at all. Not that I am complaining, it was just funny

Good news is we weren’t the only MLS to get beat. But we are the only team to get shut out thus far :/
