No doubt there will be an increase in traffic across the Atlantic with people going to take in a game either at Man City or New York City (I know I intend to try out NYCFC) ... This section is for you to let the travelling fans know about the best bits of your city.
The culture, local delicacies, beers, places to go places to avoid, especially those places within travelling distance of the ground. There is another thread for New Yorkers to tell Mancunians about there city

I remember about 5 or 6 years ago when I went up to Manchester for my uncle's 40th birthday. His wife had hired a venue, got in a bouncy castle for the kids etc and there was a steel drum band playing. One of them was a woman in her 30s who looked really familiar to me. Took me until a few hours afterwards to realise that it was Sam Siddall, who played Mandy Maguire on Shameless. That really threw me as well - I think it was back when she was actually a regular on the show, too. I never watched it, I wouldn't have recognised her if I didn't remember her from the adverts. I never thought a TV actress would be hiring herself out as a musician on the side.
