It's a good move for him and for us. For whatever reason, and whatever happened, Pascal simply doesn't rate him. It's better to let him play elsewhere and build value for a sell-on than languish on the pine.

Now the question is who backs up Tayvon. Drew Baiera, maybe? Is it his time to get a shot?

I keep thinking of Pascal's comment, something to the effect that "Mitja has his mind elsewhere."

I don't know if that meant he didn't take being surpassed by Tayvon very well, or something happened off the pitch, or Ilenič simply had a bad attitude. I certainly thought Pascal was being a bit cryptic in order to protect Mitja in some way (there could be a lot of reasons for that).

In any event, if it's a sign of Jensen and Dunivant being firm about having guys who want to be here, I'm all for it. We need that cultural change. I'm done being a steppingstone for everyone.
