MLS - March 7 - Orlando (YS)

Boy was Orlando bad. Even without the Red Card, we might have won by 5.

Orlando kept playing that high line all night and doing so very poorly. They applied no on ball pressure, so we were able to ping balls over the top with accuracy.

Passes over the top led to the red card and most of the goals.

Anyone know why the Ruppert garage was closed today and whether that’s going to continue?
I emailed my rep this morning to ask, and to note I was disappointed not to have been warned. I'll let you know of the response.
If you tried to go to Ruppert from the northbound Deegan as I do, you were effectively forced into the 157th Street garage, which was moderately flooded even on the second floor. It's also mostly filled with long term parking and requires proof of payment on departure, unlike Ruppert which works on a pay as you enter basis so you can just leave. It's just a much worse experience all around.

Did you get a Matchday email with instructions where to park since you get parking included?

The matchday email only mentioned the 161st garage for the parking pass but I didn’t read it until later. I usually exit Ruppert right to the Deegan home which is seamless. I parked in the 161st garage but exited the wrong direction and added 20 minutes in gridlock going the wrong direction. I hope Ruppert is open soon.

It turns out my rep is away per the auto-reply to my email. So I sent my concerns to the fan services email, and added a thank you about the Ramones as footy suggested. I don't know if I'll get a response. Ruppert is the only garage that doesn't involve a 20 minute delay or worse when leaving to go south. If I know it is closed I'd rather walk somewhere to park offsite. It might not be faster but it's more pleasant.

A few IIs who were in the lineup or played yesterday. Even more odd that this is an away game for the IIs.

sad to see shore relegated to the IIs, but that's a crowded midfield on the first team now and even moreso once perea is back. I'm glad he's getting minutes on the IIs, but wish he had more opportunity to get solid minutes with the first team and develop more. Definitely feels like a waste of his talents.

I really hope Ian becomes out regular for home games at least. So nice to listen to someone who knows the team while also offering pretty good insight on the opposition. Even the fact that he pushed back on the "pitch so small" narratives that has become bog standard by mls pundits. I also didn't mind his commentating partner they seem to have a good rapport. Is there anywhere we can provide feedback and make sure the apple tv folks know we want Ian more?

that is a shame! seems sky scraper did push the button for the steam stacks but should have definitely threw them into the supporters section for some wild times on the big screen.. maybe leading a cheer or something. if not that, have him walking around the concourse taking pics and stuff. would have been great for the kids!
I know I am the bad guy. He came over to section 105 and tried to get the crowd going which was entertaining but stayed a bit too long. The guy behind me and I after a few mins turned into the two old grumpy men as kids and parents ran over to see him and were standing in the aisle blocking the game for several minutes. We just didnt want to miss the sixth goal. I am sure they will figure out the kinks.

Thanks for posting this. I'm in 104 but on the 103 side. I heard the commotion to my left. I looked over and could not figure out what was going on.

No but seriously, what the hell was Crepeau doing?

We've heard stories about players getting lost on our field because of the angles, did he get lost and forget where on the field he was?
