MLS Week 18 - 2017

I think he's a good defender. It's the going wild running forward that would drive me nuts.

I really like Jackson Yueill. Kind of nuts Tab didn't really even consider him for a spot in the U20 WC. Seems like he has an right future.

The Quakes seem like they are actually watchable now. I liked the look of them 1000% more than under Dom.
JVD is a good defender when he plays defense but, as you say, he makes too many forays forward- it's as if he watches David Luiz highlights on repeat non-stop in his free time; probably even has a wig to match. And he's hot-headed, with and without the wig.

At this point RB should be extremely nervous and jobs are going to be on the line. Montreal is two pts behind with a game in hand, and now Philly is one pt back with a GD +10 better. Fully expect many more tantrums from their spoiled coach with each game.

How does he compare with our left-footed CB who is really confident going forward?

I think Callens picks his runs far better - I can't remember a single time he's been caught going forward. Really the only true howler of a match was against Atlanta when he felt the foul he was used to in any other region besides CONCACAF would be called a foul, and instead play was allowed to continue.
