It took a long time but it's finally come together! These players are becoming familiar with each other and it makes everyone look much better than before. Too bad we are in such a deep hole, but thanks to the MLS playoff rules, we can still get in there if we can get a little streak going.
Solid games from a lot of players tonight and Kreis with perfect substitutions!
MOTM probably David Villa.

Three goals and consecutive wins for the first time in history...let's keep it moving!!!

Someone tweeted the Poku goal at Wynalda and this was his response

@EricWynalda: @MatthewVit32 @NYCFC @MLS not embarrassed to admit I'm crying watching this

I don't even know where to start. Yeah, it's clearly not perfect, but our attacking was fucking exciting out there.

Villa was OUTSTANDING, he gave it his all out there, and I think his breakout game finally came.

RJ Allen (yes I know), was so good tonight, I couldn't believe it. We had some defensive errors, but I really don't think anyone had a bad game.

There's still clearly work to be done but it's really nice to see the team starting to come together.

MOTM: Obviously Villa, but the impact that Poku had when he came on can't be denied.

I think Allen getting some support behind him allows him to move up the field which he does VERY well. The last time he started for us our back line was very shaky.

This Voopl thing needs to be modified to include subs. Mix and Poku were 2 of the most influential players of the match and we can't vote on them? Complete bullshit.

NYCFC_Dan NYCFC_Dan why do you say that? Would lead me to believe that they are only here for a few months then? I don't like that. Hard to work them into the squad.

We were told 4 loaned players. 1 to start the season I think because their youth squads were in the middle of their own season.
I can see them fulfilling the other 3 in July.
I'll take depth any day.

Villa bisted his ass. Mix, Poku, Villa, Lampard, Mullins. Add Pirlo feeding. That attack is healthy. We are so close.fucking beautiful ball tonight.

Midas is pleased. The apocalypse be upon us.

Anyway great fucking game of football tonight. We should of had a PK and could of easily had a few more goals (villa and mullins) We dominated for most of the game tho I was scared before the mix goal it would of been another late equaliser, but we held our own. (thank god)

Kreis finally maintained his sanity thru 90 minutes and had good subs. If hed continue this we will be set.

Pokus second assist and first goal. Crime not to start this boss. He also was playing as a striker and not a Defensive mid. So kreis decides to play him in position and look what happens.....

This team has a bright outlook here on out.

Furthermore the greek diner I work at in Queens will forever know Pokus name as i screamed it out mid shift to a crowd of strange stares.

NYC NYC

question for those at the stadium. How was the atmosphere?

Look at what just started trending on twitter...

I think we saw this lineup in large part because we have 3 games in 7 days. Can't start all the studs but it worked. They really meshed well.
