City Ticket Trade-In Program & Ticket Exchange Resale Update

We're pleased to introduce a new City Member benefit and an update to the resale platform for the 2017 season.

City Ticket Trade-in Program

Starting next season, you'll be able to trade-in tickets from up to four (4) matches you cannot attend for future matches in the 2017 season. You can use these extra tickets to bring out friends, family and coworkers to Yankee Stadium so they can enjoy some exciting soccer right alongside you.

Ticket Exchange Resale Update

After receiving feedback from our City Members, there will be a change next season to the resale platform you can use to resell tickets. The lowest price at which you can post your tickets for sale will be half of the Founding Member price in all seating areas for the 2017 season.

Love the trade-in option. I've used that for other teams and it's great. Makes you feel a lot less shitty about missing games haha

The trade in will be great. I miss several games and bring friends and family to several more, so this will balance things perfectly.

Yeah but half of a whole lot is still kinda crazy, especially for a "shit match." Stop being exclusionary like Mean Girls and tell LionNYC you'd like to share a beer with him and he'll probably invite you along one night to enjoy the pitch side white glove caviar & truffles experience. You'll just have to wear 3 scarves while doing it.

The trade in is all subject to availability. Most sections are full, so what tickets are they giving you?

Yea most STH's are surrounded by other STH's so any extra tickets most likely won't be right with you. It's still a huge improvement over nothing, as you can get full value for 4 games.
The lower price resale is good for pretty much everyone!

Let's say you have 2 season tickets. The next two games are against the Revs and DC United. Can you give up your 2 tickets to each game to get 4 tickets together for the DCU game?
