That place was great to watch matches if it got too hot or too cold.

They now are offering field side seats for $6800 each that have exclusive access to MSB. Us regular folk can now go to MVP Lounge http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/ballpark/events/event_spaces.jsp?content=field_mvp_club_lounge, but there's no view of the pitch from there. They just took away one of my favorite things I'm going to need some time to calm down about this.

I'm right there with you, man. The Mohegan was THE best kept secret in YS. It was great in the summer heat. The beers were actually CHEAPER in there and the bathroom was super nice. I'm pretty pissed off about this.

Confirmed. Just got off the phone with the rep listed to sell them. That's how I know about the MVP Lounge.

What a drag. I didn't really care about Mohegan Sun so much - the view is great but it is lousy being cut off from all of the stadium atmosphere - but guests who were Yankee fans loved being able to check out that normally "forbidden" place.

The MVP club was open last year anyway so that is nothing new.

Those are different. Batters eye is above the MSB. those reserved tables below were rented out for corporate events like a lux box. You could call the club and reserve them for a price. Don't know if they are doing that this season considering it's become like a legends club.
