Reid with a hat trick against the red bulls, I think we should really be setting him up to jump bakrar as our backup 9

i loved it when he came on in the USOC. he was an animal and super hungry. he's got the right attitude to be an elite striker. super raw. super young. he's in good hands to develop i think.

Completely agree it's time to give Reid a shot. He didn't get many chances against Pittsburgh, but he was aggressive and looking to make things happen.

This is the season to get the young guys meaningful backup time to see what they have. Play Reid, Carrizo, and Murray or Amponsah over Bakrar, Fernadez at CAM and Tana. I'd rather see the young guys out there trying to develop than watch another scoreless outing from Bakrar or Juian running around in the middle with no clue where he should be, or Tana picking up brain-dead cards.

MD Myers was the MLS NEXT Pro Golden Boot winner and he went to the USL. Age was certainly a factor (24 vs. 17). But I'm done with Bakrar and maybe our worst TAM signing. Give the kids a chance.

Myers was golden boot but watching him play he didn't have that same hunger that Reid shows. At least not obviously. Maybe it's the difference in experience and not wasting energy?

But I'm with you. Give the kid a chance. He can't be any worse than bakrar
