I think the Gold medal recipient will be unanimous, but im excited to see if any players moved much from last year.

I'm surprised so many people voted for Ring. Like, I know he just left, but is he really disliked by that many of you? o:

What I'm guessing is that people are going ahead and using votes for players that are no longer here (Ring, Mitrita, Scally, Stuver).
See, I figured it was people who didn't really play much or didn't really show much (i.e. mitrita leaving, not very good this season) ... but someone like Ring and someone like Stuver, I wouldn't figure would be kicked off so quickly, even though they're no longer with the team!

True for me. If you're gone, you're gone. Might not be his choice or fault, but no sense sending someone else away before him.
So you're telling me you'd prefer to see JPT or Thor stay on, rather than Stuver or Ring?

..that being said, I guess it's in a group format so you choose whoever is available in the group... so I guess that makes sense

TBH I didn't even pay attention to the other players in a pool if there were players no longer here in it. If you're gone you're gone. Sure, I'd rather have Ring on my team than say Thor, but that's not an option and we couldn't get as much GAM for Thor. In a game like this, having Ring linger for a few rounds just causes, at best, heartache. Pull off the band-aid. So it goes.

Meanwhile, Stuver left on his own. I understand why and don't criticize him for it, but once a player chooses to leave, I tend to be cynical and heartless. Gone and forgotten. Long live Barazza.

Fair enough!

I love watching the inner heartlessness and thought processes of some people when it comes to this haha. That's what it's all about!

I was very interested in seeing Mataritta's showing. I personally felt that he raised his profile this year. I'm guessing his CCL showing soured him for a lot pf people.

I think its a combination of that and his fairly recent social media activity.
