I came in at the last day and threw a team together real quick. Very unfamiliar with most MLS players but this is a great way to learn more about them aside from watching games. I am familiar with this format though because of PL fantasy for the last several years. Off to a good start though as both Gargan and Keane picked up big points! Good luck everyone!

Stupid Zardes not finishing last night was not a good way to start my season. Ishizaka looked great though, he might be an $8 steal.

If it touches an opponent, it doesn't count as an assist. The ruling on the play was that is glanced off a defender. They review every assist though, so it might be changed.

Bad luck and bad decisions on my part. Villa should've got an assist, but apparently the rule in MLS fantasy is that if the ball touches a defender at all on the pass it is a deflection and not an assist. Then I had Dempsey and Martins, but decided that I should swap one because they have a bye week 3... so I kept Martins... I had Dempsey as captain and I swapped him for Morales.

Then, if that wasn't bad enough, when I went to bed last night I had 56 points and when I got the squad update email this morning I had 55 points. I can't even figure out who they took the point away from.

I can already tell this is gonna be a really fun season.

I did much better than I thought I would. Clearly it was all luck, though, as I haven't seen a majority of my players even play before.

Is anyone able to make transfers? When I click on a payer name I have options to Switch (which only takes him into or out of lineup), Show Info, or CLose. I checked my history and haven't accidentally made any transfers so I should be able to make 2 this week.

I'm guessing you're not in the transfers section, just in your regular managing team. Go to "My team" at the top, click it to get the drop down menu, where you'll be able to access transfers.

Yep. Thanks. In my defense, the official instructions leaves that part out, jumping straight to "Select the player's name and select remove."

Lol I knew what you were struggling with because it took me a while to figure it out myself for this year, and I played last year!

And I definitely needed to switch as it turns out someone I drafted has a torn up knee. At least I didn't have him in the lineup.

I know that feeling. Last year like half of my guys didn't play or were subs. I think I used a wildcard by week 4 lol.

If you didn't change already, you might want to wait until later in the week, just in case new info comes out since there's no penalty till waiting until right before Friday's match if you can.
