He could be released from his contract. It's his last year, everybody knows he wants to come to NYC to be closer to his wife, so they aren't going to get any transfer for him - he'd play his contract out and walk. With that in mind, does Leicester want a guy playing with one foot out the door, or do they want to use some of that TV money to select a replacement now? I can see it going both ways, but as a Sporting Director or manager, I'd want my players' heads in the game with zero distractions or resentment.

Not very much about soccer tactics and the roles of players apparently.

Do yourself a favor, google fullback and wingback as it applies to soccer. Then look at how Ben Sweat has played the LB posistion this year, some heat maps and passing maps would be good to look at as well.
