I think it’s just that Rangers have no money. Otherwise, they could/should have begged/bought Solanke.
Looks like Woodburn might head over. He might be pretty good. When Hyndman went over in a similar situation, he was damn near carrying the team at times. Speaking of, too bad for all parties they couldn’t land him permanently.
I honestly don't know what to expect from Defoe. Most Rangers fans seem pretty pleased with the signing. I'd expect him to either be a super sub spelling Morelos or they might go two strikers at times. Morelos is clearly the man there though Lafferty has been a disappointment and if Defoe has anything left he brings something very different to the table.
I do think bringing back Steven Davis (despite his age) is definitely a good move and he should still be able to do the business at the SPL level.
