Within ticket manager, you navigate to "Manage tickets". Find the game, and look for a link that says "transfer tickets".
That's my understanding, although I don't know that you can do it yet beyond the first game.

nah ford is a big yankees sponsor, i guess that has something to do with it

So I was very confused about this as well, and then I pulled up the original press release: http://www.nycfc.com/post/2014/07/17/nissan-becomes-city-football-groups-official-automotive-sponsor
Nissan if the CFG official auto sponsor; however they are billed as the official electric vehicle partner of NYCFC. I can only assume then that Ford's title is the official gas-guzzling vehicle partner of NYCFC>
