Oh, he cares all right. The ink wasn't even dry on the deal when he attended the groundbreaking, and he was already trying to sell luxury boxes.Does he really care? He only owns 10%.

You can tell everyone's checked out when the main ticker showed the correct teams( left of picture) and then for some reason all the mini scoreboards (right of picture) show... NE as the away team? The fuck?
This was only at the end of the match, but still....

Is that under the control of the Yankees or the club? I get the distinct feeling the Steinbrenners have lost interest since the Etihad Park deal came together.
That's what I was afraid of. Sloppy. Do you know how much control the club has over the website?NYCFC has its own game and scoreboard ops team.

Hmm. Not great there, either. I catch a lot of mistakes with my little red pen. We need to tighten this ship up.I would assume heavy control with support from MLS. They do have a large digital team.
Prior to the NE game, the mini score board was going back and forth between NE and Orlando. I’m just hoping it’s a system errorYou can tell everyone's checked out when the main ticker showed the correct teams( left of picture) and then for some reason all the mini scoreboards (right of picture) show... Well individual club seats have started to be sold for the stadium. The prices are even higher at the top than I thought. Please let me know who will be the idiot buyer paying $48,500 for one seat at Etihad Park for a minimum of 5 years with 5% price increases each year. Stupid money.
Buy a season ticket to the Knicks or Rangers with that money.
Jesus. I’m guessing that’s for the Gatsby seats?Well individual club seats have started to be sold for the stadium. The prices are even higher at the top than I thought. Poor scholar here. See you in the standing section.Well individual club seats have started to be sold for the stadium. The prices are even higher at the top than I thought. the added benefit...If you buy two tickets, you are paying for Johnny Shore's salary, so you can literally yell "I am paying your salary play better.".Jesus. I’m guessing that’s for the Gatsby seats?
Did they further expand on benefits for the tunnel club?
From a business perspective, it's a gigantic issue. With the lack of excitement and signings right now, they are really going to have a harder time selling these seats than I think they expect with this pricing.
So, figure they raise the annual ticket allotment to 20 from 18 somehow if they include every Leagues Cup and maybe USOC or whatever. That's $2,450 per game average.Well individual club seats have started to be sold for the stadium. The prices are even higher at the top than I thought. Lol that one game costs more than my wife and I’s whole season packages combined. Damn I’m poorSo, figure they raise the annual ticket allotment to 20 from 18 somehow if they include every Leagues Cup and maybe USOC or whatever. That's $2,450 per game average.
A 5% annual increase reaches $58,950 in Year 5. A pair comes to $117,900.
I'm very interested to see how this works out. I'm often reminded there are more people with stupid money than I expect -- even this week-- but that's steep for a non-elite league in the 4th or 5th most popular team sport in the country.
It’s likely going to end up being at least 90-plus percent new accounts in the premium sections to the extent they can even fill them, corporate accounts with no connection to or history with the club. No loyalty whatsoever to those who have been around for 11 years. I understand the economics and opportunity with the new stadium, but they are making this exclusively a corporate play. So, figure they raise the annual ticket allotment to 20 from 18 somehow if they include every Leagues Cup and maybe USOC or whatever. It will. I would expect it's a tough sell for this product at that price though even for corporate entertainment purposes. And by "this product" I mean NYCFC in MLS generally, not this specific struggling iteration. But I'm sure they did research and expect to make their targets. It’s likely going to end up being at least 90-plus percent new accounts in the premium sections to the extent they can even fill them, corporate accounts with no connection to or history with the club.
