Stadium Discussion

So, if I'm reading this right, if I come down for just one game, my only option will be in the corner. Correct?

It's been a long time since I've been to a major league park in any sport, so I have no idea what prices are like now. And I won't be looking seriously at a ticket for a year. But I just want to know if I should start setting some shekels aside now considering how stratospheric the season ticket prices are.

I mean, yikes.
Dude, I'd throw in $20 towards your ticket price for you to make a game at the new stadium. Book it.

Yeah. It's covered.
Love you guys. ✊

This may get close. After all the chemo, the numbers are still heading in the wrong direction.

However, let's not worry about it. I actually feel really good (for the most part) and I'm ready to ramp the intensity level for the next phase of this battle. If my cancer wants game on, it's game on.

Now, if we can just find another striker to keep us rocking until Alonso gets back ...

Thank you, BC19!
And if (when!) you are feeling strong next season while we are waiting for our new home, my pitchside seats are yours if you feel like you can make the trip at any point in the meantime. We can speak separately on that in due course!
That's incredibly generous JayH, thank you so much! We'll have at least some answers soon. My last infusion was Dec. 5, so we need to give it a few weeks and then we'll do a PET scan in late January/early February and take a peek in there and see what's going on.

But good news or bad, I'm going to keep on truckin', so don't count me out.

Am I misremembering our most reliable source of stadium intel?
CFG people assured me when I pressed them that they were committed to featuring local restaurants and locally sourced food in the stadium. Their press release basically says that. I hope it's true. I guess Legends will manage it? I associate Legends with shitty food and surly service, but maybe that's only my personal, non-premium, experience at YS.

Concession workers are only as surly and shitty as the building allows them to be.

I don't think the difference at Citi Field is Legends. That building demands its employees act the way they do. The Yankees don't because they're the Yankees.

It's up to NYCFC to demand its concession workers act a certain way and to demand Legends provide a certain quality of food.

KevinJRogers I’m late to this chain and we haven’t met but if you can make a game in 2026 over the summer I probably can’t use my two champions club seats and they are yours. Let me know.

Also, I’m a nurse but went into administration. Even though I took a job at UPMC this year I still have a lot of connections in the city. Let me know if you need help with anything.

Well, the Yankees think they do that, so folks should prepare to be disappointed I guess
