Stadium Discussion

I believe the club has said somewhere (though honestly it might have been a rep so not quite official) that this round of Club seat selling is the last round before they open up all the remaining sections to the STH at large, in priority order.
Not sure, but this might have come from me.

The sales rep for the club seat presentation told me this and that those remaining sections would not go on sale before 2026.

Just a dumb question: are we anticipating our season ticket prices to raise significantly with this new stadium?

I'm a founding member season ticket holder who typically purchases supporter section seats for something hovering around 500 a year.
I love to support this team, but I am not interesting in dropping multiple thousands of dollars just because it's the new stadium.

Genuinely curious how this is going to pan out if anyone has any intel.

From a convo with a rep, my sense is they will be slightly higher but not order of magnitude higher. My guess would be something like 50% higher, so $750 up from $500 for example. But 100% unconfirmed, and not yet finalized.

I’m fully expecting the equivalent tickets to my 129 seats I’ve had since day 1 to carry an astronomical increase. If I end up not being able to afford like for like seats in the new stadium, I will be very cranky. May mean going SS for a year and then canceling my membership entirely after year 1. Fully expecting Y2 secondaries to be way below market once the shine wears off. I’m a brick-sunk-cost -fallacy-deadender. After 30 years waiting for my team to have a stadium (including the Revs), it’s my one absolutely irrational financial self-indulgence.

Applauding Revfugee and FootyLovin for emotional awareness. Everything that has happened since I cancelled has made me happier about the decision, but hopefully I'll get a picture in front of your bricks some day (possibly while wearing my founding member scarf)

Ha!

I do a fair amount of work with the concept of emotional intelligence in my job. One way of defining EQ is a 2x2 grid with awareness of own and others' emotions on one line and ability to influence own and others' emotions on the second line. Revfugee and I clearly have the awareness but we lack the ability to influence that emotional state. Alas.

Where is seat selection on your urgent/important matrix though?

That's both easy and complicated.

It is urgent because I want my seats now, but not urgent because there is nothing to be done for many months. It is important because seat location can have a major impact on enjoyment of the match. But it is not important because what I think matters (what my view is) is actually trivial compared with what will really matter and I have no way of knowing (what kind of cool people or assholes will be within 10 seats of me in any direction).

I believe the club has said somewhere (though honestly it might have been a rep so not quite official) that this round of Club seat selling is the last round before they open up all the remaining sections to the STH at large, in priority order. If so, that's another reason to think that the East Club will be more modestly priced relative to everything we've seen so far. If it were going to be priced close to the currently selling clubs they would sell it at the same time, or separately thereafter.
That's not to say it will be inexpensive. I'm guessing it will sit in the same niche that the Delta Club now occupies at Yankee Stadium, but more expensive than Delta is. To be fair, if it's exactly like Delta it should cost more because the Delta Club location is far from ideal for watching soccer at YS while the East Club location looks pretty prime, except for facing the sun and opposite instead of behind the benches.
Forgive me, I have yet to read all 1200 pages 😆 , but based on your post I'm going to assume this may be new information. Based on what I was told on the phone and at the experience center, the East Club will go on sale in November or December and will range from about $3500-$6000 (non FM). This wasn't explicitly stated but it sounded like it would be the next exclusive phase.

Also from what I was told, the club will have its own entrance on the east side of the stadium but it will just go to the main concourse, non all inclusive, no view of the field from the club, but will include parking.

I believe this is in fact something we have not heard before. Thx.

After reading the whole thread (last 20 or so pages 😂) just had some more information for those interested.

During my phone call in June, when I got the price ranges, I said right away we were probably going to max out at about $6000 a seat so I asked a lot about the east side club to compare. That's already double what our two seats in the champions club will cost next year ($3000 a seat). The two seats we picked are on the 18 yard line on the home side. I paid a little extra ($6600 a seat) to get aisle seats. He said for any concerts/event the stage would be on the away side in front of the supports seats. I picked the home side as I feel it could be more protected from weather with that corner closed off by the "Cube".

When showing us the club and possible food options he explained that the West Centerline Club is within the West Sideline Club. Its basically an exclusive area with fancier booze and some food for people with more expensive seats. Alcohol is also included in the Sideline Club.

LionNYC Assuming you have the same agreement, do any of the sections give you any concern? Or maybe I'm just poor 🤣 not sure what more I can say without speaking to a lawyer first.

It’s good to see where our team falls on the priority list of the people making decisions at Citi-field. We are listed below… *checks notes* the grass.

West and south.
I was thinking west and north based on the screenshot below and this site: ShadeMap for 40°45'26"N 73°50'40"W

Keeping it at 7pm and moving the slider by month seems to always have the shade pointing southeast. Kind of the same for 5pm games. So would having the sun behind you be a safer bet? No idea how much shade (real shade, not slang) the stadium walls will throw.

According to the Miami Herald. Chase Stadium pricing is:
Premium season ticket packages range from $3,825 to $5,525 for the East Club to $5,865 to $12,495 for the West Club to Loge Boxes for $40,120 to $60,520. East Club tickets will require a two-year contract, West Club a three-year contract and Loge a five-year contract. Most annual auto renewal tickets in the reserved sections will remain one-year commitments and those prices have not been announced yet.

I am placing the numbers for available tickets for future reference.

111 & 129 - $1,700 each
218- 219 - $1,955 each
204, 212, 227-228, 236 and 238 - $1,020 each
206-210, 234 - $833

I wish I though of this earlier to see if I could have compared the numbers. Maybe I will see if I can find it in Redditt.
