My slot opened up today, besides Wheelchair accessible seats, all other tickets for all the matches at Etihad were unavailable. Hopefully they were not picked up by fans not bots/scalpers. (But there were tickets for St. Louis and Nashville).

Yeah I got a slot today and got nothing. Etihad was all sold out, and everything else I wanted was either unavailable, or only the category 1 tickets available.

Apparently they'll release more tickets in future drops, so maybe we'll get lucky then.

I swear, the sports organizers really have only one opinion of Americans - walking cash registers. Those prices, like the World Cup, are insane.

Yep - cash registers.

As a comparison, women’s figure skating tickets (the premium event in the recent Milan Olympics) was 700 euros for the most expensive seats - I think cheapest was 200 euros. Ridiculous.

I can't wait to see that cube in action. I can't think of any other stadium in the league that has a statement showstopper entrance like the cube is expected to be.

Hope I'm in the right thread here.... previously explained my (reluctant) decision to purchase seats in the new East Side Club despite the jacked up prices just to keep supporting the team somewhat close to current seats at YS.

Got this unexpected message from my rep today:
I wanted to reach out personally regarding your East Club seats at Etihad Park. An opportunity has recently opened up that allows us to offer seats closer to the centerline at a reduced price point compared to what has previously been available.

Are sales slowing/disappointing? Anyone else have any insights?

Pure speculation on my part, but wouldn’t shock me at all if sales suck. I don’t know who the club thinks they are and the foothold they think they have within the city. The prices are exuberant and insulting to the common fan. I’ve held out this long so I’ll keep getting season tickets for at least the first year of the new stadium, but if they don’t start showing some initiative and urgency to fix this Swiss cheese of a roster I’m done.
