Stuffed Pigeons for the playoffs?

The red wings fans throw octopuses on the ice for the playoffs. We can be a little more respectful of animal's lives and safer. But how about tossing some stuffed Pigeons at our boys if they win?

Plenty of people are tossing (wasting) beers after a goal. This is money better spent.

if i recall there is a hockey team that encourages this, but they want you to toss stuffed toys, then they scoop them up and donate them to children's hospitalizes and such. I absolutely encourage this, but its a lot easier to get a toy on a rink from a small arena then it would be to get it on the pitch from the 2nd tier. Plus cleanup is quick with a shovel on ice, vs having to run around and collect toys on grass, but I suppose you could employ more ball boys/toy gatherers.
