Well, that was unexpected. Tayvon, as part of team #SaveKevin, decided that he couldn't take it and left in solidarity with Kevin getting knocked out.

That takes us to the final 3. I was trying to originally time these games so that the final would take place and finish in the week leading up to the new season... but alas the forum has had extremely tribal instincts this edition (FINALLY) and so we've reached the semi final about two weeks early.

I would pay actual money now for Freese to come in second again, even though he 100% deserves to win.
I just want him to come in second now.

Not to take anything away from Nico because he does look like a promising player, but the level hype from the fanbase around Nico to me says less about Nico more about how low the club has set the bar for our expectations around DPs.

If you put Nico on LAFC or Miami as a DP and he put up the production he did in his games from last season, something tells the reaction would be a bit less OMG the team nailed it with this one and mild optimism with a lets see what he does in 2026 attitude.
