The only thing I’ve learned from this pre election process is that Eric Wynalda has no conception of the business requirements of American soccer and must be kept away from the USSF presidency at all costs.
I haven't followed this much really, so won't comment on Wynalda's ability in this regard, or anyone else's. But that's exactly what this position is. Understanding the business requirements of American soccer. I don't care how much you know and understand about the game, if you don't get the business aspects of it, then this position is not for you.The only thing I’ve learned from this pre election process is that Eric Wynalda has no conception of the business requirements of American soccer and must be kept away from the USSF presidency at all costs.

Now perhaps there are other positions within US Soccer for people like that, but not as USSF President
interesting....this was the guy everyone on twitter etc hated when he announced his candidacy because he was the "status quo" then kathy carter came along then EVERYONE went against her and the dinner she had with sunil did not help and everyone forgot about this guy
and this guy won in the end avoiding all the heat.....conspiracy theorists will say this was sunil plan all along? well played to him if he wanted the same people in charge.
Important factors to remember here. Sunil while not president continues to remain on the board. As well as now there is the open vice president position. My guess is that Carter will run for it and win it. Basically, all this charade for nothing.
