Valentin Castellanos [Forward]

Is that an attractive move from Taty's perspective? I don't follow European soccer as closely as many others, so I could be looking at this wrong but, wouldn't going from a top 5 Siera A team that just went to the Europa League quarter finals, to a bottom table EPL team with reasonable relegation risk be a bit of a step down?
Money is probably a lot better and I wouldn’t say wolves are a reasonable relegation risk. I mean it’s possible but unlikely imo. And with Cunha on the way out they need more attacking firepower. I’d love to see him there

Get that sell on money!
This very much may happen. Sarri rates Pinamonti (quite a few people do) and is going to take a shot at him in the January window. They'll need to sell Taty for it to come together. But the Hammers are also after him. So are AS Roma.

This could turn into a bit of musical chairs.

Why are they shopping this guy?

And how does Flamingo have that much money?
Flamengo is the richest team in Brazil. I'm sure they can swing the transfer if they really want to. But one of the Brazilian press outlets is now reporting the club is balking at Taty's "astronomical" salary expectations.

I don't know how reliable it is, and for what it's worth, according to Capology he's at €2.89 million all-inclusive, which doesn't seem excessive to me, especially if he's going to a club which rakes in over €200 million every year.

Taty is also under contract until 2028. Maybe he wants to renegotiate before agreeing to the transfer. 🤷‍♂️
