As in MLS 1.0. Yes. I'm annoyed at YES. And annoyed at CFG/NYC FO for letting this shit occur. It's really inexcusable in this day and age.

I have subscriptions to fox soccer2go, FUBOtv, KlowdTv, MLS live, and every network offered by my service provider that shows soccer.

Yet here I sit, in 2015, watching some dickheads with monochromatic tie-shirt combos talk about fuckers who have 158 more games left to play, of which, many more will be ass whippings.

YES=NO

Agreed. Didn't end up being able to watch the game at all. MLS is going to have a much harder time catching on in the states if the games are so difficult for people to watch.

The NYCFC vs Philly live game began at 4 pm EST. The TV broadcast was on tape delay at 5 pm EST because baseball commentary was more important to the YES bigwigs.

Yeah, but we knew for weeks about the delayed start of this broadcast.

It would have been problematic if the Yankee game had gone into extra innings. Would YES then have shortened the post-game show in order to show the NYCFC match beginning at 5:00? We're lucky that we didn't have to find out.

As it turned out, the broadcast started when it was supposed to start. And everyone who wanted to watch it as though it were live had ample warning to stay off the internet from 4:00 until after the end of the broadcast.

It's still unacceptable. Either don't air the stupid postgame or move the NYCFC game to an affiliate. Good thing it's only one game this season.

I mean, it was slightly annoying I guess. But not nearly as dramatic as you're making it out to be.

Tape delays are bullshit, I get it. But if you think it's "inexcusable" to not have every game broadcast live, in high definition, on mainstream channels, irrespective of what other games are on, I don't know what to say to you. Maybe try the NFL?
