"I didn't take notes but here's what stood out to me:

Tommy Mac loves playing at Yankee Stadium and doesn't care about the size of the pitch. He was asked which player on the team inspires him the most and he said they all do in some way, but singled out Mikey Lopez for his relentless energy. He thinks the team can still make the playoffs and that winning silverware is still the goal for the season.

Coach Vieira was asked about how he'd integrate Lampard into the team and he said that was a difficult question, but he looks forward to him coming back and thinks it's good to have hard decisions to make as a coach. He said Frank would have to work hard to break into the team as Tommy Mac, Mix and even Poku have been doing well. When asked about the 3-4-3 formation he said that he would go back to that at some point, but felt that right now it was important to first get the balance right between offense and defense before going back to that formation, though he seemed to agree with the idea that Pirlo is better with someone like Bravo next to him. He was also asked about Mata going forward too much and he said that that's his strength and if you ask him to just stay back you're taking away too much of his game. He also felt that the team had created more chances than the opponent in every game except the last one.

Jon Patricof revealed that he didn't have much of a soccer background professionally or personally before taking the job. He sees his role as dealing with everything except what's on the field and wants the team to connect more with all of the city through events like last night.

I think those were the highlights. Nothing earth shattering obviously, but pretty cool to get to see these guys up close in a pretty relaxed setup."

"Mark Fratto moderated. He's the voice we hear over the PA. He made a point to say whenever we score a goal and he yells the player's first name the crowd should respond yelling the player's last name. Take note! (He seemed a bit frustrated when it doesn't happen...)

General introductions of and by John, Tommy and Patrick. They want the club to win and win trophies, and to connect with the fans and hear our thoughts, hence this being one of many Q&A outreaches to occur throughout the five boroughs.

They then took questions previously submitted via twitter and live questions from attendees.

The first was via twitter about how Viera intended to integrate a healthy Lampard. Frank will need to work his way into the team, especially if there are other players playing better at the time. Pretty clear from Viera he'll make choices that are best for the squad rather than just put Lamps on cuz he's a DP.

I'd say much of the responses from the three were a bit generalized (some questions were a bit generalized so naturally...) They were all positive and earnest in their commitment to better the club. That was very nice to see and hear.

A few notable takeaways:

Tommy commented on Villa's passion for the game and winning and every time he sees that it inspires him, he lifts his game. (We all see that from Villa on the pitch, nice to hear it ripples through the squad.)

A question was posed about the fairness of the referring that's been seen. Patrick explained at the beginning of the season refereees meet with squads to explain lots of referee-type things, so the players and coaches are aware of what they are looking for in play. Tommy diplomatically added that refs have a tough job and incidents happen quickly. Subtext there seemed to be "sometimes we've gotta take it on the chin and move on"...

From John, the club look to continue and develop more outreach. There's a definite initiative to connect with supporters with events such as this. It really was quite cool to have the club president and manager take time from their schedules to meet with about 50 of us supporters in a pub in Brooklyn. Add in Tommy Mac (or any player for that matter) and it just added that touch of respect from the club to the supporters.

Lasty, a knowledgable supporter won two tickets to "Win" at Tribeca Film Festival because he knew Tommy's favorite animal is the penguin."
