While this is technically true I think its a bit misleading. You can technically travel from NYC to Lincoln Financial field at a fairly low cost on a combination of regional rail via NJ transit and Septa but its a 3+ hour trip that requires multiple transfers that often get messed up and extend the travel time even further. It's hard to imagine someone risking the $1000s they likely spent on WC tickets on the variability of that transit method.

Doing the trip on Amtrak takes just over two hours and is far more consistent but I'd wager on a world cup game day those tickets are going to cost the same or more than the $150 they are saying a trip from NYC to metlife is going to run.
