So, I'm confused as to what goes where, thread-wise. But here's some Honda info from the transfer rumor rater at ESPNFC. I don't really want Honda, and I don't have a great reason. I just don't have a good feeling about it.

Keisuke Honda to Major League Soccer: 65 percent

The Japanese international has been linked to MLS clubs for the past year, and now that his contract with AC Milan is set to expire in June, his next stop will almost certainly be in North America. The Chicago Fire, Los Angeles Galaxy and New York City FC are interested in signing Honda, but the move will likely take place at the end of the Serie A season unless Milan can convince Everton to loan them Gerard Deulofeu as a replacement. At the moment it appears that Ronald Koeman would only approve a deal where the Spanish winger leaves on a permanent basis.

This dearth of information actually has me considering starting a Player Doppelganger thread or Reason for Your Avatar thread. The pain is real.

Reason for your avatar was actually one I've thought of before. Some of us have some strange ones.

This is the first time my allegiances have crossed. I don't know whether I should root for a permanent move for Geri if Honda isn't a sure thing for NYCFC

This has been the most boring offseason I can remember from following any professional team.
It's like they're taking their fan support for granted... considering they have so much fan-outreach during the season, you'd think they'd have stuff during the down months to keep communication going.... but whatever....

Couldn't they have given him a keeper's kit to wear since he will almost certainly never wear the hypno-kit?

Sorry, little details bug me right now. I just happened to be watching a civil war documentary/movie and they had a scene where a soldier was flashing back to his family at home and the house had vinyl siding. Pretty sure vinyl siding wasn't a thing in the 1860's.

Well that's my first question for the next fan forum sorted.

"Mr Vieira, you say you're happy with the pre-season so far, but on January 4th we saw Sean Johnson posing on the club's very website in what was CLEARLY the away jersey for outfield players. When will you end this farce, do the decent thing, and resign?"

What?! What!?!?
How can you be bored or disappointed?
I was thrilled, and enraptured, to read the club's amazing list of 5 reasons to be excited about 2017.

I probably shouldn't do this, because, SPOILERS, but here goes:
1. New Players
2. More to Come
3. Preseason
4. New Opponents
5. The Kickoff

I mean, just look at No. 2: More to Come. Who could ask for more information or detail than that?
Excuse me, I can't even take this.

My rep emailed me today regarding relocation. In that email, "Some exciting signings on the horizon so be on the lookout."

I don't think he knows the names of the players just a general sense and optimism of new signings that are exciting.

I bet that sarcasm is frowned upon at your office unless it's regarding the opposition and you can cite former case law.

You guys really need to find some other hobbies to keep you busy.

(Please note that my Forums account was hacked today and the 45 previous posts and 6 hours logged were not my own).

What exactly is it that people are hoping for here? It's not like Reyna's going to tweet "Off to sign Nasri hope Valencia don't outbid us lol" just to keep us happy. I mean, as far as I know, the club staff is still actually going to work in the meantime, right?

Right?!
