Cityzens Portal

As I said above, the points will still show up, but they will be worthless. You can't actually buy anything with them. That's what happened to me at least...
OK. I switched seats last year, the points stayed in my account and I was able to spend then.

When I logged on Wednesday my old seats were still listed. I just checked now and my new seats are listed and all my points transferred over. This is my third seat seat change. Same thing happened last season with a lag time before my new seats were reflected. I don't remember trying to use my points when my outdated seats were still showing so I can't speak to that. Like FredMertz FredMertz and Gotham Gator Gotham Gator , I was able to use the points I earned during season 1 after relocating my seats for season 2.

In 2015, I had two Legends seats under Founding Member status
In 2016, I had two Legends seats under Founding Member status and two Pitchside seats under regular season
In 2017, I have Pitchside Seats under Found Members status (i.e. moved my old seats to my new seats).

But alas, my 8000 Cityzens points from my old seats were not transferred and are gone. I bid for the FIFA Card signed by Jack Harrison a while ago, but someone outbid me at the last second. Always overbid.

I saw a signed picture of Villa and Pirlo with a very reasonable bid. I set my phone to alert me at 2 minutes before noon so I could grab it. Unfortunately, the clock they use for the Citizens auctions is 2 minutes fast, so I missed my chance by seconds.

You own freaking Pitchside Seats and they screwed you out of 8000 points? Did you talk to anyone there?

That's shameful.

Complain about it and they'll probably just suggest eating an extra half dozen Alaskan King Crab legs in their dining room at each of the games.

Except when you move your seats, you can't transfer points from one seat to another. When he dropped 2 seats he lost the points for those seats. It's rough but consistent with the rules as they've been applied all along.

Right - sounds like they should have treated it as dropping the Pitchside seats and moving the Legends seats to Pitchside, but instead they treated it as dropping the Legends seats and "upgraded" the Pitchside seats to the founding members rate. I bet whoever did it just did the first thing that came to mind and didn't even think about your points, so you'd think they would be willing to correct it.

What hurts more is that all 8,000 points was under one seat...

That is actually how it was treated. I explained it to my account rep a few times how it would work and he agreed. Still, I just hope to accumulate enough points that I can outbid anyone to ride in the Canyon of Heroes parade after we win MLS Cup.

Probably the one connected to Twitter. If that was the seat that had the most of your 4, did you ask if they could restore those and drop the points from your two seat that have the least points? That seems reasonably fair.

Yeah. I got lucky a few times with that seat that picked up 15 points/day for a few months by retweeting and using @NYCFC and #NYCFC in a single tweet plus the #WINNYCFC campaign that gave 50 points per day but was broken so it counted all of the tweets. I racked up a ton probably 14K in total on that single seat.

Still, it's just point.

I missed that part -- although if I were a customer service manager I would not have taken the points away from a Tier 1 customer.
