Authentic Jersey

Yeah, if you see one patch, it's a replica jersey. I wouldn't say there are a "bunch" of differences though. The materials are different, the patches, the cut/fit and obviously the price are the differences.

Sizing, shoulder/arm stripes, back stripe, inaugural season patch, two MLS patches, patches are different materials, replica patches are stitched not pressed, the NYCFC badge is stitched, not pressed and the jersey material is sliiiightly different. I'd say that's a bunch ;)

Son of a bitch! I JUST bought a new authentic home on Monday at regular price, it was delivered yesterday and now it's on sale for $108.

Edit: EVERYTHING is on sale. I just placed an order yesterday for a giveaway...

Which store can you provide a link?

I guess the away authentics are never going to be back in stock at this rate? ):

Not to be indelicate about this, but do people find that the replicas, uh... "hold stink" more or differently than the authentics? I find that if after wearing my replica once it gets pretty smelly in a way basically none of my other shirts of any material do.

By the way, here's a description of the differences between replica and authentic jerseys from Adidas, Nike and Puma.

http://www.soccer.com/guide/authentic-vs-replica-do-you-know-the-difference/

The Adidas section says:
"Like other brands, adidas’s authentic jersey features a tighter, performance fit. This is designed to decrease weight, wind resistance and any other destractions that may influence you negatively while playing. The replica is a more traditional, loose fitting jersey.
On replica jerseys, the adidas logo and team crests are embroidered, while on the authentic they are screen printed. This is to decrease weight and irritation that can happened when you mix player sweat with embroidered detailing.
Both adidas authentic and replica jerseys are made from 100% polyester. However, the authentic features an adizero knit, which is designed to be slightly thinner and more breathable than the ClimaCool knit found on the replica option.
A small mesh detail around the sleeve lining can also help to distinguish between some of the authentic adidas shirts and their replica counterparts."

Finally got my alternate jersey pressed today. I decided to wait to get it pressed until the third DP was signed. So glad I did!

Nice stuff, especially the sleeves.

But is it just me, or does the 21 look a tad crooked?

Btw, how much did it all cost?
