I got a nice hoody once from Red Bull. Apart from that what we received is standard fare for MLS STH's, although packaged better than most. Not really sure what people that are disappointed expected.

We're founding members, I did expect a little more just this once. I don't expect a package like this every season. They could have put more thought and quality into the entire thing. No biggie, life goes on.

Scarf is nice. A little cheap material-wise, but I had already planned to hang it up at work anyways. Doubt I will wear it for a game. The 2nd scarf is going to be hung in the man cave.

The lanyard is cool for my work ID. Really like that, but again not for a game. I can already see someone trying to snatch it. The bracelets are going to to my younger cousins.

I also did get the away jersey from Modells... looks great! Can't wait for this weekend & Opening Day!

I'm probably a weird guy for this (some people have been bashing it), but you'll have to pry that sky blue silicon bracelet off of my cold dead wrist. As for the lanyard, that's going in the garbage.

I like the idea of the cards but I wish it was an option, not the default. I would very much have liked a souvenir ticket for the home opener, especially since they gave stickers. That's just begging to be framed and hung on the wall below the scarf. That card ain't gonna look as nice as a proper ticket would've.

My Mr. Negative side is back in full effect.
I was excited. I really, REALLY, wanted to like this.
On the plus side, the box and sleeve were nicer and better quality than I expected after seeing the pictures, but not as nice as Orlando's looked. But everything else is either meh or a negative, for me at least.
The cards are fine. They're cards, with the team logos and colors. They're not awesome and they're not disappointing. They are the cards I expected. But I'm not wearing them around my neck. The lanyard is a waste, although it seems nice enough and for those who like lanyards, more power to you. They're not inherently a waste, but they are for me.
I'm definitely not wearing a cheap plastic baby blue bracelet as I'm not a fucking newborn. And damn that's a cheap plastic piece of crap. I've seen higher quality prizes given out to 5-year old kids for "giving it a good shot" at a carney booth a church bazaar. The team should be embarrassed.
The scarf is a true disappointment. The legibility of the names is poor. Material is kind of plastic and weird for a scarf. Design is so-so. Maybe it couldn't have been done better but they should have thought of that before they designed it.
Most importantly. Was very much hoping for a commemorative ticket for the first game. Would have been the least expensive yet most impressive thing in the package but nobody in the organization had any fucking imagination.
Bottom line, the games are the thing. A nice STH package would have been a bonus. I don't hate the package, but it did absolutely nothing to make me go: WOW, I'm so glad I'm a Founding Member - they really made it worthwhile.
So let's just start playing the damn games already because the business side of this organization just disappointed me again with their ancillary incompetence and lack of creativity. Thank goodness the CBA got worked out.
