Even better, Mix never sees the 18 after that match ever again. And we're never given an answer. Like the ending of the Sopranos.

10'ish charter landing in NY around 6am est

Huh? Why does it take 14 hours to get home from JFK/LGA/EWR? (Especiallly early morning when there is no traffic?). They can be home by 4am, plenty of time to plow their WAGs before breakfast, right Kjbert Ulrich Midas Mulligan FootyLovin ???
